Microsoft never posted minimum system requirements. Your guess is as good as mine. It's still IE6 running scripts from IE8, so it'll still suck at rendering on mobile devices released in the near future. Neither IE4 (i.e. PIE) nor IE6 were developed for mobile use, so porting IE6, especially to WM6.1, is likely a failure before it's even been released. I wouldn't put one egg in this basket.
