Google Phone- Start Saving your Money!

I heard about google possible releasing a phone this winter on early 2009. After doing some searching here is what I found. I can honestly say, if this is the phone they plan to release, they can take my pre-order NOW!

Did you find any information on it, or just a picture? Also, I'm not sure that this picture is real, as I doubt Google will include Windows Mobile on their phones if/when they ever do release phones.

That is one of the quite-old mockups that has been floating around for a while. Google is building an OS that will likely run on a variety of devices including an HTC device that should be coming out this fall.

More than likely when Google releases they will be running Android, which is their mobile OS thats still in the works.

It is anounced that google will release a phone with android OS. They already demoed the phone's feature and it does not look anything in that image.

i thought the Dream was gonna be the 1st HTC device w/ Android. According to Engadget, Google says Android is 80% done and the device could possibly come out late 4th quarter or very early 1st Q '09.

One thing is for sure. not gonnabe released this year.

Here is some info about Android, but I'm only concerned with the unit that Google plans to release. There is a number of prototypes floating around but the one above is the one most reputable websites are talking about.

The beta is also already out, but I wouldn't suggest using it. I hear its so slow and buggy thats it not even Funny! below is a video of someone using the beta

The first link mostlikely to be the android coz it looks like the phone that was demoed but it is black. The second link is the interface created using linux. U can find it here:
