i think some one said this is vaporware, so i would not count on this... besides windows mobile 7 will be out in a few months anyway, so who cares.. Windows mobile 7 will be released dec 2008 or jan 2009 just a few months away... I wounder if the HTC Diamond /touch pro will get an upgrade to it.

wm7 will supposedly have a dual touch interface, which the diamond and pro do not have, there for i don't think a wm7 upgrade is possible... if you are right about december or january, i'ma pass on the diamond and pro and go with a wm7 device...

i cant wait for windows mobile 20 when it intergrates into your anus and you have to tug your tug to answere your phone and to hang up you need to pick your nose.....

Is there a special type of touchscreen that needs to be employed to take advantage of multitouch? or is it just software? The screen should be able to register all contacts on the screen, but it is the OS which determines which one to use right? Hmm.. maybe the have silently integrated this tech ahead of WM7 in the anticipation of its release.

u might be right, i haven't looked that far into it... but iZoom kinda has the multitouch goin on, except, if you see in the videos, its not at the same time, its sequencial...

post back if you find out about the multi touch thing.

After reading up on it and thinking about it, based on how touchscreens work, I think its a mixture of both a type of touchscreen that can register more than 1 touch (probably 2) and software that interprets the multiple touches into gestures, drawings, etc.
