I love this site!!!
I just ended my family plan and got both of my phones on the $30 plans.
I spoke with a very friendly lady named "Angela" which helped me out. She said, "You have been with sprint since 2007, why would you cancel your service over such a reason?" I said, "Honestly, I would just like to transfer to the sero plan but I can't do that with my current contract that I renewed 2 months ago. This is a great oppertunity to get a plan that I really want, so I called". Everything went great from there. :headbang::headbang::headbang: |

This sort of thing comes along rarely and one should jump on it if they desire another carrier. A common one that most people wait for is text message rates increasing, for that is a sure fire way to skip out on your ETF. Stable companies, unlike the current Sprint, do not let this happen but maybe once in two years.
If you have knowledge of the backend of the industry then you can always get out of contract but for the consumers this is a golden ticket. |

well i dont use the minutes i have, already have sero, power vision is included, and i have the touch....... i cant think of what i should go for. maybe sprint tv or something. |
I was on the 69.99 700 minute plan plus $5 per month on 2 lines for 300 text messages. I called and told them I wanted to cancel due to the increase in fees and I was offered (on the second attempt) the 1000 minute shared plan with free unlimited internet and unlimited test messaging, all for $50 a month. Just dial *2, when the automated thing comes on, say "cancel" and it should bypass customer care and take you straight to retentions.
I told a friend about this and he called to get the same plan and the person he got told him "It's only 40 cent". Don't let them pull this, any increase is an adverse change and gives you the right to cancel your contract. Plus how much is .40 per line per month multiplied by the 12 or 13 million subscribers? Even if you don't want to cancel, it gives you a way to negotiate for some better deals. |
Could someone help me out as to what exactly the SERO plans are and what they consist of ??
Also do you really need to know a Sprint employee to qualify ??? *edit* I see some people saying they were not successfull on their 1st try to either cancel or negotiate a new deal, so what exactly did you do or say when they didnt want to give you what you were looking for ??? Did you just hangup or what? Also how much longer does everyone have to do this ??? |

When you call, say "cancel" and it will bypass everything and transfer you to an operator. I think that you have up until the end of this month. |
Now here's a thought. I have five phones on my 700 minute plan. One line has a full round of vision, txting and insurance plus I have a teacher discout, so my ending bill becomes about 200 a month. Would calling them affect my bill much in a positive way?
