Possible to assign different apps to camera key with short and long press?

I saw in other threads an app called "Button Shortcuts" that will allow you to assign any application to the camera key, but it only works on a long press (as far as I can tell). I would really like to assign a program to a short press (I want to make that be "MotoTorch LED", which is a very handy flashlight) and then still have the camera app come up on a long press. Any ideas?

Re: Possible to assign different apps to camera key with short and long press?

Coming from Windows Mobile I find it really annoying that although the Droid is much sleeker and overall easier to use, there are little details like this that just don't seem to have simple solutions, like taking a screen shot, or assigning buttons, etc. I guess as time goes on all of these things will be taken care of though...
