Right, the hardware specs are exactly what I'm talking about. I'm on a 500.00 Gateway laptop right now that matches the specs of the mighty macbook. Maybe "matches" isnt the right word, mine actually has more ram, a larger hard drive, and a larger screen for around a 3rd of the price.

Thats exactly what i do. I have a 17"MPB that doesnt even have OSX on it just windows 7. Only bad thing is that you cant really put it on your lap as it gets extremely hot.

lol, I am using a 5 year old desktop replacement ( laptop ) because my other one gave up the ghost and let me tell you, this thing ould fry an egg....hehehe
