I got my Moto Droid on the first day for $149.99. Went to Best Buy, skipped the rebate, got back to work after the phone was up and running then called Verizon and complained that I didn't get my NE2 which I had credit for, but B.B. couldn't give me. They credited my account $50. So it worked out nice.

so you got the phone for 100.00? or did you get it for 200 and then knocked off an extra 50 when you called VZN?

They are 49.00 today online at walmart.com, (no mail in rebates or anything.) The instore price is 119.00 (on a 2year contract, new or upgrade)
