MotoDroid1 random screen sliding and selecting

My mom has a Droid 1 running android 2.2. for the past few weeks its had a problem. Her phone will be fine, then suddenly it will randomly slide screens and start typing, calling or selecting apps, or all at once. Does anyone have an idea about whats going on?

It is caused by some sort of chemical she got on the screen. Sometimes lotion, facecream, make up, or aftershave will cause it. Just clean the screen and you should be good.

Should it require a cleanser of some sort? Her screen is almost always free of fingerprints etc.
