Status 31 when trying to back up

I keep getting a status 31 cat mount dev/block/mmcbk0p1 when I am trying to do a full system back up before updating to

I made sure there is a nanriod folder on my root. Any ideas?

FYI - I just kept power cycling the phone and was able to back up
