I'd hate to say this, I have the droid... I'd get the Nexus one on Verizon when it comes out this month.

Droid has only a few advantages over the Nexus One.

Better Built - Extremely Sturdy, Gorilla Glass
Physical Keyboard - Not a lot of people use it anymore
Higher Resolution - by only 54 pixels but it does help.
Multi-Touch Driver - does not have the Axis Invert issue

Nexus one has faster processor (even after Moto is overclocked to 1.25GHz), AMOLED Screen which alone makes a very a huge difference in looks/battery life.

We'll see what verizon comes with since it's supposed to be even better than what TMobile has.

I refuse to buy any htc products again, there cheap, and they never last the two year contract, I try to stick with Samsung and right now moto.

I feel this way too. I haven't had much luck with HTC. Their build quality is subpar IMHO. On the other hand, I hated Moto until the Droid. Samsung products are usually very good quality too. I had a Omnia i910 for the longest and loved the phone. The software just got outdated very quickly and I grew to dispise WM.

Re: droid or nexus one?

Had nothing but luck with the HTC devices I have owned. Plus, they make them easier to hack and seem to offer more support then other manufacturers. The dev scene is also greater because of the interest in their phones.
