Anybody get EASY SMS to work?

I am trying to find a program that will allow me to essentially make a connection from phone to computer and send texts through my phone but type them on the computer. I loved the ease of MyMobiler for WM. I am unable to replicate anything similar on the Droid. I downloaded a program called Easy SMS, so far anything but easy. If anyone has an advice it would be much appreciated.

Have not used Easy SMS but a few posts down is this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=104409

where z0mbiexx found a MyMobiler clone for Droid. It doesn't work for me though. My keyboard or mouse don't function. The apps web site has an issue database where several folk have my trouble with no resolution yet.

I was able to get it to work via USB. It's a bit of a process..but works pretty good. Let me know if you need help.

i once tried "remote sms" it did work... but i didn't quite like it..
