Re: Which rom to use?
Well sholes team has an all in one app for 5 bucks that roots, installs backup application and installs one of the fastest roms out there for $5 on the market. It's called "SholesMod Updater".
It will easily save you a couple hours... but it will also prevent you from learning what goes into rooting, backing up, and modding your phone. (Edit: it's now free if you download it from sholes.info directly.) Many of us are using the Smoked Glass Mod by AdamZ at alldroid.com Last edited by banden; 02-05-2010 at 05:55 PM. |

Re: Which rom to use?
I'm using the sholes mod updater, it worked pretty good. It took a couple flashes to get it where I wanted. Running at 800mhz fine trying 1ghz now. I didn't have the time to sit down and educate myself on the proper way to do it. I wish I had though the sholes rom seems to be up there with the droid kinda like the cyanogen mod on the g1. I'm going to go back and do it again. I'll post some good in depth guides I found in the morning and save you some googling.
