windows 7 delayed until 2011

sucks to be a windows user then..... (im waiting for the next Android or WebOS powerhouse from Sprint to switch)

I've definitely been enjoying the Android OS, all the ease of use of the iPhone OS with the customization and openness of WM, Kind of a "best of both" combo.

As far as WM7 being delayed again? I think this might be the best move for them honestly. If they release an OS that is anything less then phenomenal they will be brushed aside yet again. They need to basically disappear from the Mobile platform for a year or 2 and start with a clean slate. Scrap everything they have been using and then jump from the shadows with a totally new, totally innovative Mobile OS that offers something that no other Mobile OS offers at the time. If they do accomplish that, they will also need to make double time progress in their app market, they will need some kind of incentive to developers to play catch up with Android and Apple in the app race. The odds are definitely against WM though, it's going to be extremely hard to come out with something like that with Android progressing the way it is. They need to shoot for 2015 technology and release it in 2011, something like holographic display capabilities or something lol.

I'm happy with 6.5 no rush for me. I'm sure HTC will come out with another touchflo version by then.

i didnt mind 6.5 but with omnia i had to constantly flash to get a rom that worked for me and everything on the phone didnt always work right. thats why i decided to just try out android and im hooked

LIES LIES and more LIES .. There are some websites running the story titled ” Windows Mobile 7 delayed to 2011 ” this is not based on any facts at all. All they are trying to do is destroy the momentum WM has got going for itself with the news WM7 is going to be announced at MWC 2010 and with xBox Live Games.

Facts :

* We are sure that representatives from Microsoft would have told you the focus is shifting to Google Android ( Sarcasm )
* Nokia is sure to know what is happening over at the Windows Mobile camp ( Sarcasm )

Im so happy i switched from WM to Android before i had to settle i meean the omnia made windows a little tolerable but after switching to android im finally satisfied with my cell phone completely for the first time ever
