Music skipping problem

I have been using the Amazon MP3 application to play songs stored on the SD card and to play songs streamed from the Amazon Cloud. The DX2 seems to have random skips or hiccups while playing. From my search on the internet it seems this isn't just with the Amazon player (in fact I think most other people don't use it), but with all MP3 replay. Any idea how to fix it?

Re: Music skipping problem

I think the phone requires a damn good SD card. Something like a Class 10. I have no idea what the included 8GB external card is.

Re: Music skipping problem

It's not the SD card. I have a class 10 32gb card and it still skips.

It's an issue with how it manages memory, or at least it appears to be that. Many have posted how to use the V6/V8 Supercharger Script from zepplinrox and it seems to help, but it doesn't clear it up completely.

Re: Music skipping problem

For the most part it is fixed for me. It still skips a little depending on what I'm throwing at it but 2.3.4 is the best thing to happen to this phone.

agreed. I still miss CHT, but after some more time I'm tweaking the interface to suit me.

Re: Music skipping problem

well I'd try converting the .mp3 files to .wav files then to .wma pro and see if that helps. a great program called dbPoweramp can do this without adding DRM.
