KIN for Sprint?

So as I understand it the KINs were released for Verizon and seem to have been completely overshadowed by all the great full featured smart phones out there.

I'm still grandfathered into a Sprint SERO plan and would love to play around with a KIN on sprint if it was possible to unlock it from Verizon.

From what I can see here in the PPC geeks forum there isn't much interest in building custom roms from these or providing a guide for me to use an unlocked one on sprint

So what do you all think?
