To UNlocak the Intrepid

Go to Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager > Menu (soft key right) > Phone Settings > Security Tab > SIM Unlock > Enter your MSL code (It is the "secondary" code if you used sprint.com to activate your phone)
Phone will automatically restart and voila !!! your phone is unlocked.
If you don't have the MSL with you, you need to temporarlity activate the Intrepid for a minute by using sprint.com/activate website. While activating, it will show you the one-time 6-digit code and the secondary 6-digit code(this is the MSL) . Once you get the MSL, you can deactivate the Intrepid with Sprint.
Then using above steps mentioned at the top of the post, you can unlock the Intrepid.
