I have V3 and the Fix and it worked great until a few days ago, now I get a data connection error. I haven't been on-site much lately, as I've been swamped. Has V3+Fix been made obsolete?

I have V5 and I can not get any updates for days now. Always a connection error. Is the server or database down?

I installed v4 to Calkulin ROM with Mobile shell, but my city still doesn't show up as an option. I have tried resetting it, even hard reset it and reinstalled, and still nothing. I know my city is on there because I opened it up with SQLite. Any suggestions?

Weather is updating for me with no issues. Sorry I have been away for a while and been busy with a lot of things, I have not had a lot fo time to be supporting this, but I am doing my best. Working 18-20 hour days, does a lot to your body.

Weather update is working for me though.

Installed V5 on my new TP2. After an initial "freeze" for a minute (probably sourcing the huge database) it works great!

Minor grumbling (since I am a meteorologist after all)...how does one add locations? I noticed there are tons of podunk towns with populations < 50 people, but yet both the sizeable cities of Parkland and Coral Springs, Florida are missing. Can these be added manually, or is there another trick to it?

Just wondering is Washington, D.C. in any of the other files besides v1?

It's not in there for me and it seems to have been replaced by Zillah?

Thanks, conflipper! Works beautifully. However....I'm in Nevada City, CA (95959). The temp appears to be off by 13-15 degrees. I checked it against my neighbor's weather station (he's a weather freak who reports for Weather Undergound) to confirm the discrepancy. Also checked for Sacramento, CA (an hour south) and it's dead on as well as for Grass Valley, CA (15-20 minutes away) and that also is correct so it's just readings for Nevada City that are off.

okay I will look into it. I need to do a refresh. I will be starting school next monday. but once that starts I can quit internship. So then I will have a lot more free time.

kinda funny, I will be working full time and school full time, but talk about all the free time I will have.

Same here just a freeze for a min on my TP2, then it works great.
