Con great work, thanks! Don't know if it's just me, but if I try to click More Detail Online, I get an error- "Server Error in '/m' Application.". I'm using version 3. Thanks again!

Hey Con,

I assume the location code for the city is the zip code. If it is there are a lot of cities in upstate NY that have the wrong zips. Such as Catskill which should be 12414 and Ravena (12143), but are something else. This is for version 2 checking V3 soon.

Re: North America Weather Database V2 Manila (9-2-09)

I am compiling a new version right now. I just went though and used a FULL USPS zip code database, and based everything off that. So all zipcodes should be reading correct. They are the same ones in use by USPS,

Bigger cities though, I cna only use one zip code, so if you are in a very large city and your Tempature is wron,g it might be that I am using one from the other side of the city. I am doing this because If I was to use 200 zip codes that had the same city name, (LA) how would you know what one to pick. So I am having to do it this way, If you want, I can manually pick and choose what ones to use, but The best I can do at this time, is just 1 zip code per city.

If tempatures are still off, I will look at the script and adjust that how i need to. but at least I will know that all Zip codes are correct.

Download V4 here, should have all zipcodes fixed and matching USPS database

Is anyone else having this issue?

Re: North America Weather Database V4 Manila (9-21-09)

I installed v4 twice, but both times only got v3 installed--no international cities, and v3 shows up in settings>remove programs. Am I doing something wrong? I really would love to have international weather and world clock as I work with someone it Tokyo and Europe and it is nice to keep up. that said my weather is more important, so thanks for updating the US towns so we don't have to pick the nearest capital city.

No problem. thanks for the reply-I thought I was doing something wrong-maybe needed to manually uninstall v3 or something.

Is v4 supposed to have big international cities, or is that planned for v5?

Thanks again for your hard work!
