If its XP I have no issues but if you are using vista then I recommend open the sync application on your desktop first, then turn on and put your PPC to the home tab, and last then connect your cable. Sometimes it is delayed and sometimes I have to connect and disconnect 2 or 3 times.

vista should not active sync

If you have Windows Vista, your synchronization settings will be managed through the Windows Mobile Device Center.

all good, I am at work and just forgot the name for Windows Mobile Device Center, either way it sort sucks and is not very reliable in my experience.

read whole first page, one post is for change in system but not home screen. another post is for homescreen.

It is the same one I already have, when I turn on wifi I get a color icon and I want everything to stay stock, Thanks
