Dear headhair

I am missing you perhaps you are busy now.

1. I have backup my .nvs file from LGNPST, If I again re flash the rom what will I have to do again to come back to reliance CDMA working condition.?
2. Is is compulsory to backup NVS by QPST also, for re flash ROM with LGNPST.?
As you have re flash the phone after activated reliance so Please help me to avoid mistake.
Thanks in Advance.

Sorry for the late reply. I had to shift my house to new location.

I have an another CDMA working set with Sim card Slot, and if I dial *228 in that set it also say the same thing please inter your 9 digit pin number.
I thought dialing *228 will restore settings, once it is activated.

Yes. I have flased ROM many times. Once you restore NV you can use Reliance as usual.

Dear one question, I know how to restore NVS from LGNPST software
To Restore NVs using LGNPST go to
LGNPST Menu->Data->Data Recovery. From there you chose your backed-up NV file.

No. Only for the safety. That's all.
I feel it is easier to work with QPST than LGNPST for Service Programming. Open QPST Service Programming, backup NV.

please tell me details in how to backup nv through QPST.
Yes QPST 2.7 is enough. Start QPST Configuration. From there select port & select Mobile.
From Start Clients menu, select Service Programming.

Read details from Phone(Read From Phone button) & Save it to file(Save to File Button).

To restore, select Load from file (Load From File Button)-> write to Phone(Write to phone button).

Dear headhair

Have you hard reset ?
What is expected after hard reset ?
Is our MIN ,MCCID, MNCID, will lost ?

One thing I have already tested before activation of rim, that the eri.bin file is being recovered after hardreset.
And still we have not get any solution of this.
Thanks
If you have seen in details with QPST there is CDMA and again cdma 2
In cdma there is or rim MIN, In cdma 2 there is original MIN

Yes I hard resetted the device after activating Reliance.
Everything replaced. MDN, MIN, MCCID, MNCID values became default. Even Akey is also lost.

I think these default values are stored in somewhere, may be in a dll file. We have to find out which file or data these values are stored in ROM. If we could find this, we can change values to suite our mobile & create a separate ROM, so that if we hard reset, it is possible to restore correct values itself.

I Hope there may be some solution.

Which form of Hard Reset are you using?
If you're doing the one in the phone (Settings > System > Memory > Hard Reset\Factory Reset) then it will wipe your activation too.
If you're doing a hard reset where you reset the phone while holding the C button on the keyboard (Possibly the FN key too, haven't really had a need to hard reset in a long time) it will save your activation information.
If doing the hardware reset via the keyboard ends up clearing your activation, then there is probably a setting somewhere with default values. Find that file\registry key and you can bake your own custom ROM with your own values easily.

That's what we are searching for. Registry doesn't contain old values. Nor any dll file.
