Thanks n1nj4Lo for the reply.

I have restored NVs. I am presently using SIM with
GSM Network.

I can use LGNPST>Phone Settings & could read
MEID & ESN.

Don't know what to do.

Is there anything like verizon locked SID/NID?

did you switch it back to gsm?
phone > right menu button > options > network tab > gsm only. Disables Verizon half of phone.

Re: Kitchen released

Not too sure cause my phone is on a CDMA Network...

Maybe someone else could help you with that.

Did *228 work successfully?

I am using GSM with no problem. The CDMA part is only the problem.

No. Same problem.

I can change the SID/NID pair using LGNPST or using Hidden Menu ##7764726750.

But after restarting, the Phone information on the Right Bottom box of LGNPST shows
different SID/NID other than I saved. Is there any Base SID/NID pair which is to be changed?

Does the phone work fine except for that message? I can look into a way to disable that popup.

Yes, the GSM part is working fine.
As far CDMA part I could not register network using *228.

Please make steps to disable the message.

Re: Kitchen released

Well, the good news is that you don't need to do the *228, bad news is that i'll need to find how to disable the message on the phone.
I'll do some looking for it, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Thanks pizzaboy192.

But why this pop-up appears?

Re: Kitchen released

From what I've seen, your phone is in Global mode right now. If you switch it to GSM only you can disable the popup. In Global mode, it will prefer Verizon carriers. I am assuming you are not in the United States, so it defaults to the SIM card and uses that network instead.
Because of this, it is still giving the popup to activate the phone, because it still thinks it is a Verizon phone.
To set it to GSM only mode (saves some battery since it won't search for Verizon service) do the following:
Press the "Send" button on the phone. (Left key)
Press the right softkey and choose Options.
Tap the top banner until you are on "Network" and change it from "Global" to "GSM Only" The popup will not appear anymore.
When you flash a ROM to the phone, it changes preferences. One of them is the network preference. You need to re-set that setting in order for it to always work on GSM networks.

Re: Kitchen released

Thanks pizzaboy192

I am presently using GSM Mode & it's fine.

You are correct. I am outside US. But when in CDMA Mode it
detects local CDMA Network. I find Signal strength is high.

I already said the problem is with only CDMA. Only *228 activation
is not available.
