Well let me apologize in advance. Sorry. I hope you got a chance to read some of my info before you flashed the rom. I am definitely not a wizard at this stuff. I am no "ROM Chef". I just have access to a kitchen and a few people on here wanted a basic set up so that is what I tried to do. I am using my other rom. The NonSense rom. So without running the SImple_Rom on my phone -it is hard for me to diagnose the problem. Does a long press on the end button bring up the lock screen options?

Hopefully some other people will use it and report back and be able to help us all out.

Can you report back on a few things? Did the data connection work? Or did you have to manually set it up? Did the Web tab in Sense work? If so, what browser did it use? Any more info would be great.

well, everything is ok, the connection data, web tab with IE in sense, htc message is faster than the other roms with sense 2.5. it has not been freezed or got some issues since last night. it's quite stable and fast.
my media key has been stuck, so that i cant set it to xdashutdown. but no broblem, thanks for your hard work.

Use this cab ((Wildman) Manila Left Lock Registry Fix.cab) to change left softkey to lock...

If there is a issue because no Opera install you can use ssMaHo (ssmaho_0.0.4.0[1].cab) (Allow you to change Sense default softkeys and interactive launch commands).. Right tab is a bit more of a headache to change because it is originally reserved for menu options and it cant be changed by a simple registry edit.. Besides you can simply press the left hard button (Send) a any time to open phone..

1. It works....

2. Pretty well. Boots up fine with about 253.28 mb of storage free. 83.01 of ram free. very nice. Its fast and responsive.

3. you tube works fine for me. i had the setting set for high quality.. no freeze or reboot.

4. Installed VVm and it worked without any "fixes".

5. MMS does not work "out of the box" but there are plenty of fixes floating around. Thats an ongoing rom issue.

6. my location works just fine as well as all weather things.

7. Installed opera. (a custom version: ninja duck) works perfectly fine.
