Yes, i just fixed it for the new release, its related to the new phone canvas that started on 1.5 and on..., for 1.7 all EPST and OTA modes are displaying as normal....
I guess that's the only bug from 1.6...

ok a couple of issues...

1. weather. I cant get it to display my city on the home screen. just keeps saying "my location"

2. First rom where even after using microsoft myphone and signing into facebook with account manager i gotta relink all my contacts one by one.

Is there something im doing wrong with both of these issues?

Nope. This was about 30 min after doing a fresh flash of your rom and having not touched the phone to make any changes. Also, I have no idea what you mean by "if you meant the screen been interpolated".

I'm also having some difficulty with the lock screen that's hard to describe. I may have to take a picture of it. Basically I'll put the phone down and forget about it, when I go to hit a button to wake it up, it won't show the lock screen. It'll show a warped version of the wallpaper that makes me think it was in landscape mode when it locked. I see no slider and I have no means of unlocking the phone except pulling the stylus out. Once it does this the lock screen remains broken until I reboot the phone. Forcing Sense to reload (changed tab order) also does not fix it.

Again. Minimal configuration and no cabs installed.

Ill give you the same advice i gave someone else with weird issues like that. Diff people have diff opinions but i

1 hard reset
2. flash to new rom
3. hard reset again....

clear out all the cobwebs. Sandwich the new rom between hard resets. Usually fixes most oddball problems.

Been there, got the T-Shirt. :D

I've figured out how to consistently recreate this issue.
1. Open a program that'll go landscape auto. For some reason, on this build, ActiveSync does so that's my example.
2. Set the phone down in landscape orientation. Wait for it to lock.
3. Wake up the phone. You should see a distorted version of the wallpaper and no lock screen.

Adortab, do you have a cab to make the roms have a 3 row start menu, and also, is there a way to disable the htc messaging and enabable wm messaging?

I did figure out the weather locaation settings..Just go to the weather page, menu, and i think it was enable my location...
