When you dial * 228 it doesn't show phone being updated or reboot phone when update is finished. Tried both * 228- 2 and *22899 and neither rebooted when update finished.

It would be nice to actually have a working 23557 ROM with the Verizon apps on it. I've tried a lot of them and none of them seem to work properly. Yours could be the first. :wink:

Went back and did the email setup and also have gone back on Google Maps several times and have not had any more glitches , probably a one time thing.

does latest "light verizon 21XXX" rom require manual setup for MMs to work?

I was just getting ready to flash this rom and saw this. Does this mean you can not program your phone to activate it?

no it programs just fine.. it just hangs up after wards and doesnt prompt you to reset. You have to soft reset manually. thats all
