The way it works is you select a carrier, then select the Apply button to actually apply the settings. What the author should have done was not preselect an item when the application starts up and/or not used on-off switches (option buttons would have been better). At least it fits in with the HTC styling...and no matter what, the application seems to work as indicated...

If you have verizon go to start/settings/clocks and alarms/ and change it from there. soft reset.... should sync with verizon servers and be all set

I noticed it alot when i was using the cab 2.5's. Now that im running the energy rom my home page is very fast. i have 11 icons in the shortcut section. maybe its something else u got installed?

I cannot seem to get google maps to lock on to any satellites. I have the location setting on and GM is set to use my location. Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?

I have always used GPS before with no issues. Also, I have the Energy 23544 Cookie Monster ROM installed.

I noticed that the home tab slows down considerably with the weather animation turned on. When I turned it off, it was quick as hell again.

You have to turn GPS on in google maps...

Menu > Options > Use GPS

I actually did do this. I forgot to mention that in my original post. It hasn't helped but thanks for the suggestion.

Is that what visual voice mail is. I just like the pop up 1 voice mail back but will give the cab a try.



Update: cab didnt fix it. I want what was on the original Imagio rom on the HTC home screen where when you have a new voice mail, it would say "1 Voice Mail" in the middle of the screen where the Call History and Calendar Icons are. When you clicked on the "1 Voice Mail" icon, it would automatically call your voice mail. This was a great feature and I would like to get it back if possible.
