Has anyone else tried using Palringo?

I'm using the MaxManilla v.23544 build. When I try to log in with Palringo, it does this non stop back and forth between "Reconnect Pending" and a very brief "Connecting". Any ideas on what might be causing this?

It does work, and I spoke to soon about the back arrow, if you hold it down it seems to consistently return to the home screen. The more I use this ROM the better it gets, fantastic work NRG! Donation coming your way

also is there a way to close the keyboard everytime i try to close it it takes me to keyboard settings

I was hoping for the zoom bar functionality too.

I also noticed the keyboard does take you to settings when you try to close it.

I miss the zoom bar too, didn't like Opera versions that didn't support it previously. I sort of like this version of PIE6 but no zoom support there either. The keyboard issue seems erratic, some forms are more problematic than others but it's pretty much a hassle. It does seem to take input more reliably in portrait mode though with better and more consistent synaptic feedback.

It is under settings / system / wipe device
