Wait until Mondays update

When the flash process is complete and it reboots the phone it will not go beyond the intial HTC spalsh screen.

As stated below you must flash back to the old rom to regain function

1. pull battery
2. hold down the power and volume down buttons
3. connect via usb
4. launch the mr1 upgrade


this was figured out by the posts following mine. I am simply placing it on the first page to stop people from flashing/help anyone who flashed without reading

hold call button, red power, and vol down while off or reset with stylus.

Hard Reset isn't going to erase the rom. You'll have to reflash 3.04. Extract it and remove the SPLH_signed.nh file

Hold down power button and volume down button. Then plug the phone into your computer (it should say usb) on the bootscreen when you do. Then re-flash with stock rom.

Nope, it didn't work, and given that he doesn't have an Imagio, its not surprising. ROMS very rarely can cross devices without some kind of porting. Usually it involves different device drivers. Despite the devices being quite similar, there is usually a piece of hardware here and there that differ. For instance, the Touch Pro 2 has dual microphones.

Best to wait until a tested ROM comes out if you're not comfortable with the bootloader, constant Hard-Resets, etc.

having the same problem.. and can't seem to replace because when you try to boot to the raindbow loading screen you get a menu instead saying wipe settings for factory/custom. any way to get into the boot loader?

I figured i was headed for some hard resets / funky stuff. As long as i am always able to recover the ability to use it as a phone i have no problems, was worried for a second though haha :)

Don't worry, I was too. All my previous phones display the boot loader information (HSPL version, Radio version, etc) on start up no matter what, so you get a little more indication that its booting during the HTC logo screen.

Where did you exactly get stuck this will help me determine what part of the os is hanging on loading.

MR X UPDATE ON BUGS
you tube crashes and requires soft reset
when rotate it rotates to left but i guess thats your preference
no cover flo on photo and music tabs
so far everything else seems to be working

do a few hard resets as this is the first time the device has seen a custom rom. then try out youtube and the rest let me know what is a re-creatable bug.

Camera maxed out @ 3M.
Burst mode locks up camera application.
Bluetooth working so far including VC.
GPS working well.
