Does the Imagio have to be in bootloader mode first.

Also when the Imagio is plugged into the computer via usb. Does it need to be synced to Windows Mobile Media Center first or can I just click the exe file from anywhere on my pc and it will know to run on the Imagio.

if the phone is plugged into the PC, that is all that needs to be done. It will place the device in bootloader all byitself. It will take care of all that. Has long has phone is plugged in you should be good to go.

Conflipper thanks for posting the ROM. I didn't realize how much I missed flashing new ROM's to my device. Almost feels like old times, can't wait until the HSPL. Thanks again.

We can still teather with this rom using htc wifimodem and ICS right?

If you are doing the other method,
you can just copy the file into the RUU folder. no need to rename anything,
plug device into USB port and PC
double click the ROMUpdateUtility.exe
And follow the prompts.

This will be just like flashing a regular rom.


I have now changed that so you can just load up the .exe that I have posted above, and it will be just like an official ROM.

one more thing, does the phone have to be off or on first before you run the exe program.

phone should be on and synced when using the .exe program.

it is actually much easier to flash from sd then trying to sync and use the .exe program.
just download the .nbh file directly to the root of your sd card and rename to whitimg.
soft reset to bootloader and follow onscreen instructions.

this eliminates any possibility of a bad flash through usb and flashes faster.

just did my first flash. Thanks Conflipper for everything youdid. You rock!!!!

everything worked I guess, the only thing that I noticed is that when my phone started up I didnt have to program it, i.e. call #228. Is that fine, I tried to call a normal number to test and it worked so am I good then.
