SPRINT: Upgrade to Touch Pro 2?
 

Hello,

I have been a long time HTC Touch user, almost three years now. Never had to use my $7 insurance in those years. My phone is still running great but battery is starting to die out, screen has become more and more unresponsive, GPS not locking in quickly, sluggish touch screen and what not. It's time for me to retire the phone. I will miss it dearly. :(

Will Sprint store or customer service upgrade my phone to HTC Touch Pro 2 given that my phone is not functioning properly and is outdated?

I know HTC Touch Pro has a lot of problem so I want to avoid that like a plague.

Well, if you do an insurance claim you will probably get another Vogue. They are still out there. Since you have had it more than a year, you are beyond the manufacturers warranty so your only options are to do an insurance exchange or you probably have a $150 credit towards upgrading to a new device.

you'll most likely get a diamond. They replaced my Vogue with a Diamond over 4 months ago. No way will you get a TP2 or anything with a keyboard though...

he will only get another vogue, they are not giving out diamonds anymore to vogue users.

I'll second that based on the fact I just got my vogue replaced last week with another vogue. It's actually the second replacement they've given me as the screen has gone bad twice. I have the insurance plan, and they actually replaced the battery as well which had warped.
