Im not gonna start nothing but wouldn't it be tooo sweet if sprint or asurion offed the Hero as a replacement. Huuuummmmm

My brother lost his vogue today so I am going to be calling asurion. I was reading through I I was wondering if anyone has replaced their vogue recently. If, are they still giving out vogue's as replacements. He definitely wouldn't want a diamond because it doesn't have the microSD slot and he uses that quite a bit. He has already said that he would prefer not to have a TP because of the short battery life. Hopefully he can get another touch. I will let you know what asurion says.

I dont know if you have already done this, but if you really want to keep your vogue you can order cheap replacement LCDs and digitizers through ebay. I replaced my digitizer, its not hard, but you need a good thin doubled sided tape adhesive.

Good thing! I still love my vogue. Hopefully I get another one when I take mine to get repalced. The screen is forming a weird liquid in the middle and causes my touches to go unresponded. Don't know if anyone has seen that before (didn't mean to hijack!).

If you google search this problem you will find a thread on PPCgeeks about this issue. Its either moisture under the screen or a problem caused by too much pressure being applied at some point...

This is actually the same problem I had that made me need to get mine fixed. Unless you have the total equipment plan if you are on Sprint, they do not replace the phone for free because of this problem. I took mine into a service center and they told me they could do nothing for me but lift up the digitizer and try to clean out the moisture. In fact the guy at the service center really effed up my phone...

I pay 5 bucks a month for insurance and this problem did not fall under the plan. So, as I said before, you can get a digitizer on ebay for like $15 and replace it yourself, there is an easy guide I can send you if you PM me to take the phone apart.

i was just st the VZW store but they still had it there and it was mad cheap like 70 no contract and 9.99 with a 2 year contract

so im sure you will still get a youch

As of 6 months ago Asurion was replacing Vogues with Diamonds, I know from experience. I am not sure why they would suddenly revert back to Vogues as is being suggested but I would be interested to see what you get.
