screen is blank (completely white)

screen is blank (completely white). I can receive the calls, but not see any display. I am not on insurance with the Sprint. Took the phone and service around 1 year back. What options I have? Does Sprint repairs/checks the phone w/o insurance? Also re-flashed the ROM without any luck.

Did you try a hard reset? Hold Talk and End Buttons down and insert stylus into the reset hole and remove while still holding Talk and End down. Follow on-screen instructions.Otherwise, I believe you may have a bad screen or maybe just the connector that connects the screen to the digitizer is loose or bad.

Yes, they will but there might be a charge if you are way past your manufacturers warranty.

visited nearby Sprint repairing center. As I am out of warranty and also no contract, they charge flat $120. They would repair it or will give a new one, if it is unrepairable. As they do not have the suspecting LCD part, they could not test it out. How does the $120 sounds like?

Well, if they do fix it or replace it you will get a warranty for the repair or for the replacement. Your other option is to buy a used device from someone(no warranty) or buy a different new device. I guess it depends on if you like the device or you want something different.
