Windows Mobile or Android?

So I'm not talking about ROMs but just the straight OS. Which do you like better on the Touch?

I really like the Droid even though it still has issues and is a little slow. I would love to see it when it's flashed to the phone instead of being an app.

I too would love to see a solid build of Android. I think I like it a little bit more than WM 6.5, but hopefully WM7 will iron all the wrinkles out.

android-hero, it is still a bit laggy but it is improving. i havent gave up completely on wm but M$ needs to step their game up because the competition is getting better

Android is pretty awesome... I think it's much sleeker than WinMo. I just think that windows mobile is more powerful than android, and you must have a data connection for android (even if you don't put in your data info, you still get charged).

So I vote winmo.

I would say Android but some of my essential programs are only inside Winmo.....

Re: Windows Mobile or Android?

Android is slick, and I'd stick with it if the only use of my Vogue were as a phone. New versions of it are interesting, like Donut on the HTC Click. But... I use my Vogue as an MP3 player many hours every day, I collect data and graph it, use PaintWM for diagrams, edit HTML pages and FTP them, etc. These require switching out of Android, back to WinMo, which is where I'm staying (for now).

Re: Windows Mobile or Android?

there are too many limitations with android for the vogue right now. we can't use root access, there aren't as many market apps as winmo and generally it is still a bit buggy at times. i heard xda was working on a android rom we can flash but i have heard no updates on it so i think it is a distant memory. i dislike winmo with a passion but i do love the vogue still. in a few months im buying a real htc hero or a palm pre. :evil4:
