Re: Windows Mobile or Android?

android all the way. windows is more powerful but microsoft takes way to long to get things going. how long have we been waiting for 6.1 to 6.5 to 7.0..... forever. android is moving in the right direction and windows will never catch up. sorry to say it but it's true.

I am surprised to see all the support for WinMo. I'm not sure what people mean by more powerful, but using Android everything is much smoother. I'm using 1.5 and it's faster than WinMo 6.1 the keyboard doesn't lag and the browser is even better than Skyfire. It may still be missing a couple of things but it's much more stable, keyboard and prediction work better and the fonts look a lot better.

i prefer android. had the most fun so far with cupcake and its new build on xda. my opinion, every time a new build comes out, it gets better. i have always been a fan of the 'not popular' OS, or as my wife says, 'the more difficult computer geek' ues i use microsoft items, but only when needed.lynux and unix are my weapons of choice, and Android, definitely super great

personally I prefer WinMo. I have tried the different Android builds and it looks like some really cool features and looks on it but the different button mapping gets me a bit and it just seems too slow responding for me and there are a bit of kinks to be worked out. I know that in the future there are gonna be cooks that are perfecting this OS system and its gonna be a big system on upcoming phones in future aka HTC Hero but as for now I love my 6.5 even though its a bit of a basic build from JT and Im patiently waiting for 7.0 later on. So give my vote to WinMo

I vote Android. Don't get me wrong, I like the direction they are going in with WM 6.5, but I prefer the sleekness and the font rendering of Android. Plus, with the market place, It makes it a lot easier to install applications.

I like Android just because it's something different. I know I'm not getting the full experience with Android, since the Vogue is not an android phone, but the progress that has been made with it, makes it a nice program to run.

Re: Windows Mobile or Android?

I played android for a few days. I have to say, it is easier as for finger control. But many of its cool features rely too much on the data connection which is a pain for touch's battery, and I have not successfully tether it with my pc even after I tried many ways (installing pdanet failed as well). If I can make the tethering works, I would use it more often.
