Sprint: problems with text messages

is anyone else having problems getting or sending messages? I've been told my messages haven't gone through and that I haven't responded to messages either. I thought it was time for a diff ROM so changed to NSFANS newest yesterday afternoon and found out this am 2 messages were sent and neither one came through. It's weird because I do get text messages and I have gotten messages from the person who says he sent the 2 last night. I've also been told sometimes my phone goes straight to VM even though I am sitting here with full signal. Is anyone else having these problems? My service signal is good 99% of the time and the problems happen when I am in a sprint service area on 3G with full signal.
