Issues with the Vogue

Ok, I have a Verizon VX6900, flashed to work on cricket. I've gotten everything to work except, "GPS" & a Instant Messaging program. I've tried several things on this site and others sites with no hope at all. Its running Windows Mobile 6.1

The software GPS Viewer, Google, Quick GPS, & HTC GPS Tool.
The IM program is Palringo.

Did you turn it on at start > settings > personal > phone
click the services tab.
highlight location settings, click get settings,
switch to on and click ok.

Also, cricket doesn't have aGPS.
So you will have pretty slow locks.

I flashed mine (it was sprint) to the official sprint rom before i unlocked it and all that good stuff. Flashed to a cricket rom, then to the Generic NFSFan 6.5 ROM, took my battery out before customs ran to ensure it didnt run, and when i powered back on, all was well. GPS just has really slow locks.

edru,id ook into agps and quickgps.
theres a fix to get quickgps to work with nfsfans vogue rom in the rom's thread at xda,i havent gotten around to putting it into my faq yet.
but hose two things should greatly improve your gps.
agps does use data,and quickgps can be downloaded when you have a activesync connected to your phone.

Yeah, you're Vogue must be messed up cause when you were typing the text shows up on here with this weird light blue hue to it that I can barely read!
