Force Roam Only through ##PRT# edit "Preferred Serving System"

So I found a nice workaround to enable force roam on my sprint touch here.

However, I would really like to avoid having to edit the PRT and soft reset everytime I want to force roam. Since that thread was so old, I was hoping someone might have figured it out?

Does anyone possibly know why the forced roam.cab isn't working for a select few of us? Could it just be that maybe there is a batch of phones that are not capable of forceing roaming in this manner?
