So I would recommend sktools, but as for the rest, I'm not quite sure what's good and not, I've been using the same build for a while now, and it's been good to me, so I've been loyal.

Hmm....how about trying 9.7 Beta?
I recommended Opera v9.5 (Build 15954) Which I just happen to have right here... (And just FYI, I'm working on fixing 9.7 and so is NFSFAN, so when I get it finished, I'm going to make a cab for it

Re: Opera Question for The Vogue Experts!
I'm running the 9.7beta on my stock 6.1 and it is flawless. Its the best brousing experience I've ever had and makes my vogue feel new and fun again! I am running the version straight from opera's site. It is a must IMO

Re: Opera Question for The Vogue Experts!
I can't get the beta to run flash video. Has anyone figured out a way to get it to work or is this an OE (operator error) issue.

Re: Opera Question for The Vogue Experts!
If like me you dislike the 'manila' swipe interface and were asking yourself WHERE THE SCROLLBARS WENT, look no further than Opera Mobile 8.65. Like everything Opera, it's a vast improvement except for the occasional "IE only" sites.
BTW I've tried Firefox's 'Fennec' and it's a real hog. I also tried Opera Mini, but it runs on buggy java. I tried one that I don't rememeber because I uninstalled it right away (it was supposed to give an exact look of a desktop browser, but it very was bandwidth hungry as eveything is loaded as pictures). For me it's Opera all the way (like it's been for over 10 years on my desktop), except for IE only sites. |

Re: Opera Question for The Vogue Experts!
Its not so much a repair as I can tell and have heard as much as I was at work all day and havent had time to dig about much but it is a workaround of sorts for some certain calls to files that Opera 9.7 makes that may/may not exist depending on the ROM you run
If you have those files and reg edit already you part of the group that can run Opera 9.7 without (many) issues If you run a ROM that didnt have those files and reg edit then Opera calls to them and they arent there and it has fits about that, with this it puts the files needed in place and even if not used, Opera sees what it needs and then is happy enough to run Detroit Doug |
