Ok, the differences between WM 5.0 and 6, increased touch screen compatibilities
WM 6 to 6.1, Threaded SMS

Unfortunately I heard were not going from 6.5 to 7, there's another 6.x. I don't know what the point of it will be, theyre hardly gonna offer 6.5 to phones (official releases). But the nicest part (to me) of 6.5 is the kinetic scrolling, really makes things easier. So 6.5 there isn't too much of a difference speed or anything, just a new GUI which is good that they addressed this problem.

It's slower and less responsive for me. I changed back to 6.1

the first time i used the rom it was slow but then after 1 more soft reset it worked soo cooool

it looks better, its faster its more finger friendly and also has tactical feedback. I personally love it and wont go back to 6.1.

Some of the button sizes has been increased. The start menu has been gotten rid of in favor of a full screen App menu.

Overall it's more finger-friendly.

I, however, don't like the new interface in comparison to the TouchFLO 2D interface (HTC Diamond interface). It is an improvement if you like the standard 6.1 interface and hate TouchFLO 2D.

My favorite thing about the TouchFLO interface was the quick contacts menu, because it made it easier to call the core set of people I call often.

WM 6.5 is STILL hard to use as a phone

Wait what? It doesn't have tactile feedback......Im guessing youre using NFSFAN's ROM? If so its only because he adds the snailresponse or whatever its called into his ROM. I tried to in mine but it didnt work right.

I tried 6.5 for a couple of day and liked the speed and today screen but I had to many problems with G-alarm and pandora. I heard g-alarm works but i couldn't get it to work and was late for work twice and pandora just doesn't work period. I'm stuck with 6.1 until my issues are worked out at least a pandora fix.
