Re: HTC Touch (Vogue) Modified VS HTC Diamond

I just read a lengthy thread on the Verizon crowd playing Russian roulette with their money by doing multiple insurance claims to try and turn their dated phone like a 6700 into a snazzy 6800 or something better. Some of these guys are on the 4th, 5th, even 6th replacement either by their fault or no fault of their own.

I guess if you get lucky, (Or unlucky), a brand new phone is in your future but I have a feeling if I add insurance to my phone and have "issues" with it, it'll end up costing me more than what it's worth to land myself a Diamond.

Re: HTC Touch (Vogue) Modified VS HTC Diamond

I gave up my Touch last November when my son had his Mogul stolen. I had a great love affair with the Touch, so it was a tough call to let it go. That being said, the Diamond is definitely superior. Now, don't get me wrong ... custom roms and some of the creative stuff being done, are the great equalizer ... but there is no getting around the VGA screen. All the other differences are minor ... size, internal storage vs card slot, tf3d, etc, etc, etc ... and could be debated back and forth. BUT ... it's all about the screen, and once you've grown accustomed to the clarity ... there's just no turning back!
