no OUTLOOK access for Hotmail after 6.1 upgrade
When I try and add a mail account for Hotmail.com, I am just forwarded to windows live mail on the web, which is not what I want. Anyone know a way to get POP style mail access for Hotmail back?

To get it showing in Pocket Outlook, you need to log into the standalone windows live program.

You need to install windows live mobile to get access for hotmail in OUTLOOK. Download at wl.windowsmobile.com

The other way is to type something nonsensical (h@h) in to begin the creation of a new address on your PPC in the messaging section. Click next. It will ask to find the settings automatically. You can either click try or skip. Either way, it allows you to enter the settings manually. They are as follows: incoming mail server: pop3.live.com, account type: pop3, outgoing mail server: smtp.live.com, check the Outgoing server requires authentication box, the use the same user name box, under Advanced Server Settings, ckeck Required SSl for Incoming and Outgoing E-mail boxes. All other fields should be entered as usual. I have been able to set up both my hotmail and live accounts this way.
