keyboard help...

ok here is my problem. last night i upgraded to the newer version of opera 9.5. i added flash 3.1 and everything works perfect except my keyboard. now when i try to use the touch keyboard only numbers will come up as if its always stuck on shift and i cant fix it. however the regular keyboard works fine but the letters are way too small. any suggestions

Its a issue with the compact qwerty...and that build of opera because I had this same problem I just swithced keyboards when i had to...

so you use the tiny keyboard or a custom one

The one i use is full qwerty just because I haven't seen a fix yet...

I just said screw it and downloaded the diamond keyboard and it works perfect. As a matter of fact its better than the vogue keyboard.

i just use opera mini way faster although it has it's problems too. can't seem to copy and paste text on web pages. how bout a link to that diamond keyboard?

I know this doesn't fix the problem, but still worth the mention. I found out about touchpal from a fellow HTC user when I first got my touch. I downloaded the free trial and after using it I glady paid the 13 bucks it costs to keep it. Give it a try http://www.cootek.com/download.aspx
if you like it you can download sipchange for free and it will make touchpal your default keyboard even after soft resets.
