Won't Sync

Hi All,

I hope everyone is having a safe Holidays.

Here's my problem. My phone was working great on my way to work, but once i arrived, i noticed the time hadn't changed, so i was trying to see if the time was changed accidentally.....I got no response when i tried to touching the screen, so i tried to sync it (to do a factory default), and it won't connect.

Can someone please tell me how i can fix this.

Tried the soft reset?

Tried it and nothing.
Is there a backdoor way that i can load the latest fix from the HTC site, without sync'n?

Don't know why it choose today, to do this.

My friends did this yesterday. Mine did it about 3 times in the 5 or 6 months I had it. I had to soft reset repeatedly until the screen would work. Maybe you need to reset your PC too. Try taking the battery out for about 60 seconds and then put back in. My friend had to hard reset his btw, so I hope you have better luck.

Just in case you dont already know, you can hold the green and red buttons together then push the reset button to manually hard resett.

Just remember that Hard Resetting will remove all of your personal settings from the phone (phone numbers, texts, photos, videos, added programs and tweaks, etc etc) and return it to the factory settings!!

Have you tried Start>Settings>Connection>Usb to Pc and uncheck or check the box there to enable your device to be seen...
