Need Help on XV6900

I appreciate anyone can help me this problem. I was one of the people upgrade the XV6900 to the Verizon leaked ROM and stuck. I followed the steps below trying to get back. However, I stuck at step 3 below (...RUU signed.rar). During the flash, the progress bar stuck at 0% for awhile and gave me the error message "Error [262]: Update Error. The ROM Update Utility has encountered communication errors during the update process". It showed me to disconnect the battery and start the Utility again, but the same error happened over and over. I redo from step 1 again. Same problem. I did not run customization in those steps. What should I do now to go back to Verizon now.

First you want to run
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Im...e_unlocker.exe

And then you want to downgrade to this Sprint Rom DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATINS RUN
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Im...NV133_Ship.exe

And then you want to flash to and let customizations run
http://rapidshare.com/files/10745929...RUU_signed.rar

Then you need to unlock you’re your phone with
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/ImCoKeMaN/Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe

And the you can flash to the Verizon Test Rom and DO NO LET CUSTOMIZATIONS

I renamed the file from "xv6900_RUU_signed.nbh" to "VOGUIMG.nbh" and still got the same error. It seemed like in the flash process, at the 3-colors screen the ActiveSync disconnected and reconnected, but it failed to reconnect.

Any other suggestion?

Re: Need Help on XV6900

I have had the same error. I am just skipping this step, as I didnt actually see a reason to flash this part when the hacked rom is next anyways.

Re: Need Help on XV6900

I do not have a Vogue but, issues like this on my Titan were easily fixed by extracting the RUU.nbh from the package with WinRAR and renaming it to VOGUIMG.nbh before loading it onto a SD card and flashing straight from there.

YES. I did that before I read your reply. I am now back to Verizon and the internal GPS works like a champ. Google maps, Live Search and Tomtom are locked with 4 to 8 sats within 15 seconds.
