M2d and email

I have a noob question
I installed a Manilla Rom, but was unable to run the seven email program. Is this a problem with all of the manilla roms, or just maybe a problem with this particular rom (conflippes alltel rom)?

To clarify, when I went to the mail screen, it kept saying touch here to start touchflow...then you would click that and go back to the home screen
