It will not fix the roaming issue. I've tried. The only thing that got rid of it for me was to change the ERI like in the following thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=39985

It sounds like your phone is not completely converted to Verizon yet. What PRI is it showing?

And how does one know if it's correctly converted?

turned out to be that I missed a setting... changed that and works great. only thing I can't seem to get to work now is the GPS... I've been reading all over about this and nothing seems to make sense to me... If you think you can point me in the right direction, that would be great... I got lost in NJ yesterday because I didn't have it lol

you have to dial ##778 from your phone and then in the first screen that pops up you look at pri version. sometimes it is ##778#. just hit view not edit.
