seems to be frozen on "checking OS", NEED HELP
I'm hoping someone can help me. I used the unlocker and:
Bell Clean: http://download.ppchaven.com/CDMA%20...aCleanv1.6.rar Full: http://download.ppchaven.com/CDMA%20...laFullv1.6.rar When it restarted it shows "Microsoft Windows Mobile Booting" followed by "Microsoft Windows Mobile checking OS" but seems to stop/freeze on this screen. Nothing happens with pushing any of the buttons. ActiveSync doesn't seem to recognize the device when connected to my PC. The HTC Touch will respond to the hard reset command, and then stops again at the checking OS as above. Same thing if I take out the battery. If there is a way to try and reload the presumably corrupted operating system I would appreciate advice! If it is now garbage please let me know as I have to then buy a new phone soon. It is technically still under warranty but I'm uncomfortable returning it if now unlocked with a corrupted and different operating system then it was sold with. Please help if you can |

Re: seems to be frozen on "checking OS", NEED HELP
Reflash the stock carrier ROM.
I tried to rerun the download but it doesn't seem to work as the "wizard" says it can't detect my device and it shows as not connected on the activesync Any other ideas? |

Re: seems to be frozen on "checking OS", NEED HELP
the camera button, power button and reset brought me back to the multicolored screen and let me run the rom utility again but I have the same frozen screen "checking OS"
Any ideas? Should I try another rom download? |

Re: seems to be frozen on "checking OS", NEED HELP
Maybe a dumb question but what version of the unlocker did you use? If you used the incorrect version that could be what your issue is.
