Help: USB Disconnect

Hi I have the Sprint Touch. I recently bought it used. For some reason the usb isn't connecting so I can reflash the rom. It doesn't show up on my computer at all. I'm thinking the software may be corrupted or its a hardware problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Help: USB Disconnect

check to see if the advanced networking is checked or not under "usb to pc settings"

I'm running 2000 pro and I have to have this unchecked, possible previous owner was the same.

Re: Help: USB Disconnect

When it trys to detect the phone while reflashing it shows error code 260. In the instructions it says that either one or more ports are open. Any ideas?

Re: Help: USB Disconnect

I've tried that but when i do the phone completely freezes. I'm running on my wits end. I just can't think of what the problem is. The same goes for if I try to master reset the phone by talk+end+camera+reset. I'm starting to think the hardware is bad, but then again you'd think the phone wouldn't funtion correctly either. But the phone functions correctly up until i try upgrade the rom. Thanks for all the help so far too.
