Hello,

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can use outlook EXPRESS. I think you need the regular outlook client installed. Once it's installed you shouldn't have any problems. If so I would remove the existing profile in ActiveSync and then recreate it.

Umm yeah i believe i am using Microsoft Outlook 2007 but when i made a new profile for activesync i got a message stating that im only able to sync "files, folders and other non-Outlook items."

I had this problem too at first, Go into outlook and start to use it, like I guess make a calender entry or something then save, you should be able to sync contacts after that

I would norm suggest to make sure that outlook is installed first then try to sync, if this was not the case uninstall both then start again. make sure to install and setup outlook first.
