Internet disconnection bubble

I've tried the registry hack for the Mogul to get the disconnection bubble but doesn't seem to work for my Touch. Could someone post or direct me to the proper reg entries to get this to work on the Touch.

Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click ControlPanel
Click Phone
[at this point, the buttom grey status bar should read \HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone'
Click the bottom menu 'edit'
Select new dword value

Change the value name to "Flags2" (no quotes).
Select the 'hexidecimal' button.
Type 10
Click ok.
You should now see in the 'name/data' section:

Flags2 16 (0x00010)

That should do it for you.....remember to allow a couple of minutes for the reg edit to secure itself, and then reset your device.

Re: Internet disconnection bubble

wmdunn, I added the reg entry (actually it was already there) but I still don't see the disconnection bubble. Any ideas?

I'm using a mozilla 2d rom, if that makes a difference.

Well, I haven't used any of the Manilla roms yet, so not sure if it makes a difference. Make sure you are clicking on the "EV" and not the signal icon. Other than that, I'm not sure....sorry.

Re: Internet disconnection bubble

Is this pertaining to the "Dialed: #777 cannot connect" balloon that keeps corning up whenever there is a weak data signal? If that's the case, I want to be rid of it:
