opera set as default
 

does anybody know how to unset the newer version of opera as the default web browser? i cant watch flv feeds because when i open the videosites link, it goes right to opera, even if i type the address directly into the address bar. there is no setting in the opera settings menues. maybe a reg edit would fix this? plz help

if your using Manila/Touchflo on your phone check this:

if your not, you still can do it, search for Schaps Advance Configurator (or something like that) and install it and I believe there is an option for default browser - assuming you haveing already looked within the Opera and IE options for a default option and checcking/unchecking it

yeah i've always wondered how that worked? so i guess it doesn't work with opera....

When older versions of opera set themselves as the default browser, there were lots of registy settings that had to be changed to get pie back as the default (there was nothing in Opera settings to deselect it). Back then I used a .cab I found on xda to fix that. Give it a try.

works great!!! however, anyone know why a few video sites say " video loader error. link not valid ? all videos on a few sites do this. youtube is flawless. is there an updated flvsites cab ?
